From 2022: GmbH formation will be possible online
Digitalization in Germany continues to expand. A current law, which is necessary to implement the EU Digitization Directive (DiRUG), stipulates that it will be possible to form a GmbH with a cash contribution purely digitally from August 2022. A mandatory personal appointment with a notary, as is currently still necessary, will then take place via video conference
